Am I on a mission or a vacation?

I asked myself this question way too many times this last week.  **Fair warning it will be a long email...sorry.  CATALINA. CHURCH. COMPTON. For a video, we got to go to catalina with our president & his wife, the APs, & the missionaries who are actually on Catalina Island. It was so sick. Even though they booted me out of social media, I still got to go thanks to my amazing ex-companeras. Apparently all my great friends, APs & comps, pulled me a good one during the Catalina meeting so I got to leave my duties & head out to the island for the day !! Bless their lil hearts !! On the ferry boat we saw a bunch of dolphins & we played some uno. I got wrecked but maybe if elder taggart & spendlove were there I couldve won hahaha jk. But we rented some golf carts and traveled on the island to 2 look out points. It was so beautiful there. It felt like a mixture of Greece && South America honestly hahaha. After going there, idk if I'd go back though bc there

Change and Hope!!

hello everyone !!!  I hope you have had an amazing week. There are some big big changes coming this week, I'm sad and happy! I will be transferring to a YSA Ward with 2 new companions...that's 8 companions total for me now...in 6 months hahaha! Crazy. I was released from social media & I am SO SAD. I got a new assignment though and it should be fun. This week has been full of so many laughs and cries. We have a toilet paper problem I think. We have to go to the church OFTEN to go get some toilet paper. We got caught by our AP's (assistants to the president) and they died laughing. I will spare you the details but man, such good times! There are so many ups and downs of serving a mission. Honestly, I question why anyone, including myself, ever wanted to serve a mission hahah. But even through the difficulties, I can find those daily evidences of Heavenly Father in my life. He is in the VERY details of my life. I know that in the end it will be worth it. It doesn't ma

Happy New Year!

happy new year everyone ! i cant believe how fast 2020 went...well, I wont totally bore you with the details of my week, but nothing too exciting happened ! except that one of my companions almost burned down our apartment like 5 times this week...our poor neighbors haha. but another thing we have been doing is offering new finding ways && we released instagram to some missionaries FINALLY !! so watch out, they are coming for yall hahah. i am soooo excited because the results have been crazy. we have been able to send out 32 referrals (people) just within the last 24 hours so that has been super cool :) haha my district leader, elder peterson, called us the 'mini salt lake city' since we are sending out so many hence the title !! we could pretty much do this at home...or even take over salt lake city headquarters...no big deal..jk lol. some day in the (not so near) future i feel like missionary work is going to completely change if this is how life will have to be !! bu

Happy Holidays

Happy holidays everyone !! this week was so great. since I got to visit my favorite family for Christmas, the Mallette's!! we have been soooo crazy busy trying to keep up with everything in social media...it is basically a 24/7 job that even on p days we dont stop working hahah. we had plenty of meetings, filming, and running around for 6 days straight. monday didnt  feel like p day, tuesday and wednesday were pure chaos, and thursday was wild...yet I still found a lot of joy in all of it !! Being able to celebrate the birth of the Savior with little distraction was actually very neat. There is peace in the fact that all you need is the Savior. I have been so humbled by the experiences I have had here on my mission, and I am grateful for what I am learning! There are so many changes happening to missionary work, and as hard as it is, I am grateful to be a part of the learning/transitioning part of it!! since i wanna keep it short, i'll just bullet point two of my favorite things
