Exchange miracles!

hiiiii everyone !!

☆ I went on my last exchange with Sister Mattice and Sister Rose🥰 it was SO FUN :) and really crazy. although it's been over 16 months of me serving...I never went door knocking before. until NOW !! it fuels my fire of excitement for God's work.

being a COVID missionary, this was never in my intentions to do. but as we went about, we experienced miracles !!! ✨

it was funny because for my specific area we have to find Polynesians. and that's kind of hard when most of the area is English & Hispanic so I was lil doubtful. but as we were walking down this street full of apartments, I heard music playing. I stopped and asked my companions what kind of music was playing and they looked at me super confused (& after almost 9 months of being around poly's I kinda got their tendencies down 🤣) so I told them "that's music a Polynesian would play!!!" SO we sprint down to the music and lo & behold....

✨🙏🏼a Polynesian family🙏🏼 ✨

(thanks to the Polynesian community for keeping it simple with their love for r&b and reggae lol 😆🤟🏼) but we had a great conversation with them & they were the cutest !! one of them was an inactive member too who used to attend the Tongan ward !!

after this family, we knocked on our first door of the day. Sylvia ✨ the moment we introduced ourselves with the title 'Sister' she started bawling. a few months ago she lost her sister & has been praying for knowledge of God's awareness of her and her family. Being able to testify to Sylvia of His love for & knowledge of her was something special 💖 a true miracle ✨

God does place people in our paths at the RIGHT time !! He loves His children & I know He is aware of our desires, wants, and NEEDS 🤍✨ I'm so grateful for this knowledge because it gets me thru the hardest of days & compliments the easier days 🥰

Stay blessed everyone ! Have a great week :) xox

Pushin Through!

TALOFFFAAA!  it was a pretty alright week. I was really ran down into the ground aka exhausted from the week prior. My body really gave out on me & I got sick for a few days so I was out of the work for a second. But I'm back, lively as ever lol! This week was really hard honestly. On top of being sick, I found out one of the families I am close with from Long Beach, the dad is on his death bed. I struggled knowing this but God really pulled me thru. It was everything to me to be reminded of His wonderful plan of salvation. I feel so blessed to be in this gospel !  Some things that happened this week ☆ i got called up last minute to speak in stake conference . . . it went well lol ! I am a fan of public speaking so :) but I was very stressed. The spirit was telling me to go thru my study journal the entire meeting & I just KNEW I was going up to bear testimony but it wasn't until last minute the stake president had announced my name lol.  ☆ we had a talent night w...

Miraclllllles

Such an amazing week !! as the weeks pass on I'm getting worst & worst at writing these lol. But it was such a great week that I couldn't skip it !! There were so many miracles.  ☆ One of our friends baptism, Athena, keeps having her date pushed back because her grandma was stuck in Alaska. So, we fasted on Sunday then two days later the grandma came home !! #blessed she has a solid date of next Saturday.  ☆ Our member kept texting us to visit this random household & we finally found the time to do it a few days later. We showed up & they were so sweet !! The Letele family told us our member invited them to our wards Father Day Dance which is why they gave our member their address and number . . . I'll tell you right now there is no Fathers day dance . . . Bahahah but they're very interested ☆ We have a group of kids we are trying to teach from the same family (Schuster & Faletoi) & they randomly hit us up bc their mom invited us to their family gath...

Absence

The clock strikes 12:47am. My companions rush hurriedly to the door. I make my way down the stairs, trying not to fall asleep. As I felt the cool air brush against my face, I pull my blanket to me, angrily mumbling. I stare at the asphalt covered in droplets of rain but when I eyes revert to whats ahead of me, I deeply longed to go back in time 20 seconds prior. My heart sunk deep in my stomach as if it was the titanic. I look to my phone and the word 'absence' appeared as my daily common word from the Word Web app. I chuckled at how ironic this vocabulary applied to my very situation in the moment.   Our car was absent.   We won't go into detail but we actually found our car hahah after like 20 mins, we are just dumb ! I actually laughed so hard when I saw the word absence though because I truly felt called out by my own phone haha. But it was a wild adventure... I got to spend the night at some sisters apartment on the hardwood floor. Got 3 hours of sleep with a 6 hour me...
